Build-time catalogue data
Category and product fields are requested from a public catalogue API during a controlled build step. API credentials stay on the server or build environment and are never shipped to browser code.
Bounded previews
The local catalogue is intentionally a preview. We select a limited number of current records per source category, keep only the fields needed by the site and show the refresh date whenever a count is presented.
Original guidance
Category checks and guides are written for the decision the page addresses. Source product descriptions are not republished as editorial copy, and category pages are not created by swapping keywords in one generic article.
Corrections and freshness
Changing claims should include a review date. When data cannot refresh, the site preserves the last valid snapshot or displays a clear unavailable state instead of inventing new counts.
